Registration is now open for the Maine Medicine Educational Summit, MMA’s 173rd Annual Session, taking place October 2-4, 2026, at the Harborside Hotel, Spa & Marina in Bar Harbor.

For more than 170 years, MMA’s Annual Session has brought physicians together to advance the practice of medicine and strengthen Maine’s medical community. In 2026, this tradition continues as the Maine Medicine Educational Summit, reflecting the event’s continued focus on education, leadership, and meaningful professional connection.

This year’s Summit will feature CME programming on timely healthcare topics, networking opportunities with colleagues from across Maine, the MMA General Membership Meeting, and the 173rd Inauguration & Awards Dinner. MMA is also pleased to welcome nationally recognized public health leader Nirav Shah, MD, JD, as the 2026 keynote speaker.

All current MMA members and nonmembers are invited to attend. The family-friendly weekend will include opportunities to explore Bar Harbor, along with longtime traditions such as the annual Road Race and Sunday Family Breakfast.
