Join us for a powerful evening of remembrance and reflection as we mark the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki—an event that forever altered the course of history and the lives of generations.

This commemorative gathering will honor the victims and survivors of nuclear warfare, reflect on the global impact of nuclear weapons, and amplify the call for nuclear disarmament. The evening will feature an exclusive screening of “Silent Fallout”, an award-winning documentary from 2023 that delves into the devastating impacts of radioactive fallout in the U.S., stemming from more than 100 above-ground nuclear tests conducted by the U.S. government. Following the film, there will be an open discussion.

We invite all members of the community: activists, students, scholars, families, and neighbors, to come together in collective remembrance and renewed commitment to peace.
