Recognized Accreditor
The Maine Medical Association’s Committee on Continuing Medical Education and Accreditation (CCMEA) currently accredits 10 organizations in Maine to provide continuing medical education (CME). Each organization must go through a reaccreditation process every 2, 4, or 6 years depending on accreditation status to demonstrate their compliance with the ACCME Core Accreditation Criteria, Standards for Integrity and Independence, and policies.
