Ellsworth Free Clinic

This clinic offers free services to the uninsured including physician exams, basic lab testing and x-rays, routine health care, assistance programs, and social services. Call for appointment. Will see individuals from anywhere without insurance.

Free Clinic L/A at Trinity Jubilee Center

This once-per-week clinic offers free health services to the uninsured and to those who are in transition or temporarily have difficulty accessing their primary care provider. We don’t see patients with fever or respiratory problems (no COVID-19).

We offer assessment and care of minor acute or chronic medical problems based on history and physical exam, including OTC medications, previously prescribed medications, and new generics, for a limited time.  We fill out work-capacity forms for city benefits, review DMV eye-exam requests, and help access free/discounted care at local hospitals, clinics and for medications.  We do not prescribe narcotics or tranquilizers. We attempt to place patients who have chronic illness withe the limited number of PCPs taking new patients in our area.  We arrange free basic optometry visits and prescription glasses when needed.  We have staff available to interpret in French or Somali but limited availability for Portuguese.

The Knox Clinic

The Knox Clinic offers low cost medical, dental, prescription assistance, and mental health care to the uninsured and under-insured in Knox County and border towns of Waldoboro and Lincolnville. Care is provided by volunteer physicians, dentists, nurses, social workers and other personnel.

Maine Mobile Health Program

This program has mobile clinics that go out and provide medical and behavioral health care (sliding fee scale), health education, case management, interpretation, transportation, and other community health workers services to farmworkers in Maine. It also offers a voucher referral program.

Oasis Free Clinics

Oasis Free Clinics offers medical, mental health, vision, and dental care to uninsured individuals in southern mid-coast Maine with incomes below 200% of the federal poverty level. The clinics offer comprehensive primary care, limited integrated mental health services, eye exams, specialty referrals and dental care, including xrays, restorations, and dental hygiene (no emergency dental services).  Serving Freeport, Durham, Harpswell, Brunswick, and Sagadahoc County.

Portland Community Free Clinic

This free clinic is one of six clinical services operated by the City of Portland’s Public Health Division. Primary healthcare is provided at no cost to individuals aged 18-64, without insurance, and with income limits up to 250% of the federal povery level. Care is provided with a hybrid model of volunteers (physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and receptionists) and staff (clinical and administrative staff). Patients are seen by appointment only but walk-in intake services are provided. Services include primary care and some specialty care including endocrinology, dermatology, pulmonology, and psychiatry.
